Author Lilidor at English Wikipedia Licensing Description= I bought these railway tickets, used them and copied them. They are not copyrighted because they are available to the general public and have no copyright notice on them. They are showing variations in the rendering of the WMPT's Day Tripper tickets, along with a City Flyer ticket.". Source=My own ticket collection Article=West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive Portion=The only element of these tickets which is subject to copyright is the "double arrow" logo, owned by the Secretary of State for Transport (see here and here). Low_resolution=Yes: these tickets are rendered at a low resolution which prevents any meaningful reproduction (in particular, the security background on each ticket is significantly blurred). Purpose= To illustrate the evolution and types of WMPTE and it's successor organisation's train tickets. Replaceability=The only places in which the wordings shown here (Centro, Day Tripper, Coventry Station, etc) are used are on tickets and in railway industry official documents, such as fares manuals and route guides; as such, the use of a ticket printed with such wording to illustrate the concept is unavoidable. other_information= As the APTIS system was rendered obsolete in 2006, there is no risk of ticket images being used for fraudulent purposes. May be copyrighted This image shows or appears to a show a ticket; transit pass; loyalty card; or other form of non currency sales token such as a voucher, coupon, stamp, etc. Additional legal restrictions outside of copyright law including laws regarding counterfeiting, fraudulent use or sale, may apply to this image, particularly when it is used in printed form. The design of certain tickets is ineligible for copyright and such items in the public domain. Others are copyrighted.
Some images of tickets may contain personally identifying information of the ticketholder. In some cases such information should be redacted by editing the image and deleting earlier revisions.
