In March 2007 route PR2 was extended from Park Royal to Willesden Junction, partially replacing the withdrawn route PR1. The section of route PR1 between Park Royal and Ealing Broadway was replaced by an extension of route 226 between Park Royal and Willesden Junction. The route number PR derives from a circular Park Royal route.
PR2's frequency is about every 30 minutes. So if you miss a PR2, than you are very unlucky, because you need to wait 30 minutes for the next bus! This means there are coming only 2 buses every hour. There is also no Sunday Service for the route.
PR2 was withdrawn on 15 October 2011, with route 206 replacing and providing a Sunday service between Wembley Park, The Paddocks and Brent Park, Superstores.
