The 126/126E are two bus routes in the West Midlands, United Kingdom operated by the regions biggest bus operator, National Express West Midlands . They run between Wolverhampton and Birmingham via Dudley. The 126 is also operated by a smaller operator, Travel Express. These journeys start further on up the route than Wolverhampton and begin between 0700 and 0800, so that the Travel Express buses can start operating other services in the Birmingham area and to save on deadmiles.

Route and FrequencyEdit

The route calls at these major points:

  • Wolverhampton Bus Station
  • Roseville
  • Dudley Bus Station
  • Burnt Tree Island
  • Birchley Island/M5 Motorway
  • Bearwood Interchange/Hagley Road
  • Five Ways
  • Broad Street
  • Birmingham Colmore Row

The 126 runs every 6-10 minutes in conjunction with Route 126E, a peak only service operated using MCW Metrobus, between Dudley and Wolverhampton. [1]
