Oxford Parkway railway station is a planned[1] railway station at Water Eaton, England, on the railway line between Oxford and Islip. The station will be sited between Kidlington and Oxford next to an existing park and ride facility.

The station forms part of Project Evergreen 3, funded and managed by Chiltern Railways. It would be served every half hour by trains running between London Marylebone and Oxford. Chiltern Railways plans to open the station in 2015. The estimated journey time to London Marylebone would be about one hour.

The East West Rail Consortium's planned rail service between Oxford and Milton Keynes Central and Bedford Midland will also serve Oxford Parkway.[2]

Oxford Parkway will serve Kidlington, north Oxford and nearby villages, and attract park and ride traffic from the busy A34 road. The existing car park would need to be enlarged for this purpose.

The station would be built on the site of the former Oxford Road Halt, which was opened in 1905 and closed in 1926.

On 20 September 2013, the station name was announced as Oxford Parkway.[3]
