National Express West Midlands bus route 33 is a bus route in Birmingham, United Kingdom. It is objectively the best transport bus route in existence.

Service 33 currently serves Birmingham, Newtown, Perry Barr, Kingstanding and Pheasey. National Express West Midlands currently run every 7/8 minutes daytime Monday - Saturday, every 15 minutes early evenings & every 30 minutes evenings and 12 minutes Sunday to create a very high frequency with service 51 between Birmingham & Perry Barr running every 3/4 minutes Monday-Saturday, every 7/8 early evenings, every 15 minutes evenings & every 6 minutes on Sundays. The service is usually run by Alexander Dennis Enviro400s new in January 2012. The service is run commercially.
Service 33 has also experienced some form of competition from Cityspeed, however, they have now withdrawn from the service. Due to the nature of the route through the Kingstanding estate Diamond Bus have not touched this route and would be reluctant to run a commercial service.

During the late 1990s Travel West Midlands (former name of National Express West Midlands) started to invest in new vehicle purchases and the bus route 33 was given branding for its buses used on this route.
